1. Zero-Tolerance Policy
Boredom strictly prohibits any content, behaviour, or activity that involves or promotes:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Grooming or attempting to contact minors for sexual purposes
- Sexual exploitation or trafficking of minors
- Sharing or requesting sexual content involving anyone under 18
- Any behaviour that endangers children
Any violation results in immediate and permanent account termination and referral to the appropriate authorities.
2. Adults-Only Platform (18+)
Boredom is designed strictly for adults aged 18 and over.
We do not knowingly allow minors to use the platform. If we discover or reasonably suspect that an account belongs to a minor:
- The account is immediately suspended
- The account is permanently deleted
- Data is handled in accordance with applicable child protection and data protection laws
3. User Reporting Tools
Users can report unsafe behaviour directly inside the app or by email.
Reportable behaviour includes:
- Suspicious or inappropriate messages
- Grooming behaviour
- Requests for personal information from minors
- Sexual exploitation concerns
- Impersonation or fraud
- Any content that appears to involve minors

Boredom actively works to prevent and remove harmful content through:

- Permanent banning of violating users
- Preservation of evidence where legally required
We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or permanently ban accounts at our sole discretion when safety risks are identified.
5. Cooperation With Law Enforcement
Boredom fully cooperates with law enforcement and child protection agencies. Where required, we report illegal activity and provide assistance to investigations in accordance with applicable laws.
This may include cooperation with:
- UK law enforcement agencies
- Nigerian law enforcement agencies
- International child protection organisations
- Regulatory and data protection authorities
We comply with lawful requests for data preservation and disclosure when investigating CSAE or related offences.
6. Data Handling and Legal Compliance
We process and retain data relating to safety reports in accordance with applicable law, including:

- Nigerian data protection laws
- Applicable criminal and child protection legislation
Information may be retained where necessary to support investigations or legal obligations.
7. Community Responsibility
Safety is a shared responsibility. Users must:
- Report suspicious or harmful behaviour immediately
- Avoid sharing personal information with strangers
- Exercise caution when meeting people in person
